Prof Elliot C. Phiri; CVMBS Principal
The Principal of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) at Sokoine University of Agriculture, Prof. Elliot C. Phiri has congratulated instructors at his college for good work done to appraise the value and reputation of the College.
Speaking at the 18th CVMBS Academic Committee meeting held at the College on 27th April 2021, Prof. Phiri mentioned that Instructors and other staff at the college have been doing great job in accomplishing the mission and vision of the College and University and that deserve to be appreciated. The Physiology Professor gave an example that with the increased number of students from less than 1000 few years ago to more than 1700 now, the College Staff have been working hard to ensure quality of education provided remains of high quality.
Professor Phiri requested staff to keep it up in upholding the College reputation, and promised to work hand in hand with other college and University leaders in addressing any challenges faced.
The College Academic Committee is one of the high level organs of the College which discuss and approve different matters at the College level and give suggestions to the College Board.
