SUA- Foundation Science for Development PARTNERSHIP: training on Topographical anatomy propaedeutics of Clinical diagnostic in farm and companion animals

Topographical training

Reference is made to the ongoing project titled “Improvement of the quality of youth education in veterinary sciences in Tanzania through improvement of teaching conditions” at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The project is funded by Polish Aid 2019 Programme, co-financed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Poland, through “Foundation Science for Development (FSD) and College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Topographical training

Three days training was conducted at the College between 16-21 November 2019 as part of implementation of the project . A total of seven Academic Staff namely Dr. Adrian Materu, Dr. Eliakunda  Mafie, Dr. Jahashi Nzalawahe, Dr. Faraja H. Mpagike, Dr. Richard Samson, Dr. Athanas Ngou  were trained on  Topographical Anatomy and Clinical diagnostic skills on farm and companion animals. The training was a successful and covered both lectures and practical sessions. The training was led by Prof. Maciej Klockiewicz, Prof. Ptach Wieslaw, Dr Karolina Barszcz and Dr Marek Kulka from the University of Warsaw, Poland
