Undergraduate Students

The department offers anatomy and Pathology courses to contribute in the training of BVM students. The purpose is to produce qualified and practically competent Veterinarians who can contribute more to the development of the animal industry, public health sector, biomedical research and improvement of living standards of the people of Tanzania and of the world in general.

Anatomy and Pathology courses provide the foundation for the professional veterinary degree and other health related courses in biomedical sciences as well as education professionals who specialize in biology subject.

Courses offered by the Department of Veterinary Anatomy and Pathology to students studying Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM), Bachelor of Biotechnology and Laboratory Sciences and other biological Sciences degrees and non-degrees programs at Diploma level (Diploma Tropical Animal Health and Production (DAH) and Diploma in Laboratory Technologies (DLT)
