Dr.Edward Godon Otieno graduated at the top of his class from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Sokoine University of Agriculture in 2015. He received 13 awards from various bodies and excelled as the best students during five years of his undergraduate studies. From 2016 to 2018, he worked as a private veterinary practitoner at different clinics in Dar-es-salaam as well as a Tutorial Assistant at medical school. He came to the Sokoine University of Agriculture in February 2018 to work as a tutorial assistant in Veterinary Medicine. From 2019 to 2023 he did his Masters in Clinical Veterinary Medicine at Southwest University, China Currently, he is doing his PhD studies at Sokoine University of Agriculture as he works under the DANIDA-Funded ENHANCE project focusing on investigating the Influence of Climate change on Zoonoses at Human-Livestock-Wildlife Interfaces in the Transboundary Region between Kenya and Tanzania.
