Dr. Richard R. Sanga

Dr. Richard R. Sanga is an academic and veterinary professional. He holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), completed in 2020. He furthered his education by earning a Master of Veterinary Medicine, specializing in Vaccine Development and Quality Control, from the Pan African University Institute of Life and Earth Sciences, including Health and Agriculture, Ibadan University of Nigeria, in 2024. Throughout both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies, Richard consistently demonstrated exceptional performance, earning numerous academic prizes in recognition of his achievements.

Richard began his career at the Ifakara Health Institute, where he served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Entomology section, contributing to malaria research projects in 2021. He worked as a veterinary Tutor at Hagafilo College of Development Management before joining the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Public Health at SUA in 2023 as a Tutorial Assistant in Veterinary Medicine.
