Prof Sharadhuli Iddi Kimera, Graduated from Sokoine University of Agriculture in 1989 with Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) degree, and went on to pursue MSc (1991) and PhD (1998) in Epidemiology at the Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics Research Unit (VEERU), of the Reading University, United Kingdom. He is currently a Professor of Veterinary Epidemiology at Sokoine University of Agriculture, with more than 25 years of experience in workforce development in areas of Animal health, Animal health services, Risk analysis, Surveillance and Disease prevention and control. Over the past 15 years, he has been focusing these activities towards the application of One Health approaches in health research and innovation.
