PhD PUBLIC DEFENCE ON 7TH MAY 2024: MKAMA MATHIAS MASHINAGU

In November, 2017, Mkama enrolled in a Ph.D programme in the Department of Microbiology, Parasitology, and Biotechnology (DMPB) within the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). He is an employee of Tanzania Veterinary Agency Laboratory (TVLA), as a Senior Veterinary Research Scientist stationed at the Centre for Infectious Diseases and Biotechnology (CIDB) in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

 

Thesis Title: Molecular Characterization and Antigenic Prediction of Foot-and-Mouth Disease Virus in Relation to Vaccine Improvement in Endemic Settings in Africa.
