Dr Adrian E. Materu graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). He holds a Bachelor degree in Veterinary Medicine (2017) and a Master’s degree in Public Health Pest Management (2023) both from the same university. During his master’s studies he did research on “Plague flea vectors of small mammals in selected areas of Tanzania: species diversity, abundance, and interaction with helminthes”. He has been teaching Undergraduate and non-degree program students on Parasitology courses, he has also been involved in various research projects hosted at his department. His research interests are mainly but not limited to Veterinary and Medical Entomology.
