WELCOME NOTE

The Department of Veterinary Physiology, Biochemistry and Pharmacology is one of the early departments founded during the establishment of the Sokoine University of Agriculture, in 1984. The Department is dedicated to excellence in research, teaching and service to the community at large. The main areas of specialization within the department are physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology and toxicology. It hosts four master degree programs, and one diploma course.
